Outbound: Pasumpahan Island: New Chapter after the Pandemic: Org. by International Office of UNAND
While studying at Andalas University for almost 3 years, it has been a while since the International Office could organize something fun for all the foreign students who study at UNAND.
The last time we had an outbound happened to be in May 2020 which took place on campus itself. Through all the COVID-19 restrictions and protocols we had to follow, we wore masks for our own health safety provided by them. Here I won the price for "Most Gorgeous Person".
Two years later, on Saturday 11th of June 2022, we went to Pasumpahan Island with all foreign students and staff members from the international office. From Andalas University to get there by bus took some approximately one till one and a half hours where we then have to cross the ocean by boat which took us around 15 minutes. The moment we arrived at the Pasumpahan Island, we took some pictures around and participated in some activities. As memorable as it can get, meals were provided and tickets to get on the banana boat.
Although it started raining from noon, I admit that it was an amazing and memorable day and trip for us all; waking up early in the morning, leaving around 8, sitting in pickups to bring us to another location, crossing the ocean from land to land by boat, participating in different activities/ games, sitting in banana boat and getting splashed by water, swimming and then enjoy the rain and the view around us, all was a day to remember. NOT to forget to mention, I won the first price for the creative theme this year's outbound which I came up with the title "New Chapter after the Pandemic" and also a gift I received from the event.
Thanks to International Office of Andalas Univerisity who organized this event along with Lumit Outbound and Adventure Services, but this was all possibly made by Nagari Bank who sponsored for all to happen.
