MBKM – KKN Part 4
This is part 4 of our MBKM – KKN program;
On Thursday the 22nd of September, we had a meeting and discussion related to the Tsunami Ready Community project that was and still is ongoing, at Kantor Lurah in Purus.
On Monday the 26th of September, we had another meeting and discussion related to the Tsunami Ready Community project at Kantor Lurah in Purus.
As for the day itself to bring, on Friday the 30th of September the big event happened. In the morning an event and prayer session took place at the Masjid Agung Nurul Aman in Padang.
Afterwards at Padang Beach known as Pantai Padang, administrative requirements took place for Tsunami Ready Community and Field Conditions, Coordination with Disaster Care Agencies and Communities.
While VIP’s and guests attended this important event, speeches were held, certificates were handed over and a performance took place as well.
After the event, a parade took place of all the Motorcycle Ops, Bull Trucks, Patrol Trucks, Tow Cars, Patrol Cars, Fire Trucks, Rescue Cars, Ranger Cars and many more, with their siren on.
This is a symbol that Tsunami Ready Community is prepared for what might occur in the future and a message to other regions and countries, whereas my personal message is: “One help saves lives.”.
