Java Trip with Rain and Tante Sandra, Part 3 + 4

Java Trip with Rain and Tante Sandra, Part 3

After tante Sandra's arrival in Jakarta, Indonesia, we went on a "city tour" by ourselves using public transportation; MRT and TransJakarta. Although I didn't know exactly where we were going or wanted to go, we truly went out of the list I planned before by taking the bus and go to one location, take another bus that went to another location. At the end we ended up at a luxurious mall with only WORLD TOP BRANDS like Chanel, Gucci and many more. Although I didn’t feel right being here, it was still an adventurous day.

Java Trip with Rain and Tante Sandra, Part 4

It was a long day in Batik. Woke up in the early morning, preparation, breakfast at 6am and departing from home at 6:30am to be one time at the Suriname Embassy in Jakarta who I supposed to have an appointment with at 10 actually, but because the place tante Sandra and I stayed at, uncle was heading the same route, so why not go together with him. So, in case of traffic jam like usual, we left at 6:30, so we could arrive on time but we unexpectedly and surprisingly arrived at 7:38am at the Suriname Embassy in Jakarta.

Uncle then dropped us off at Plaza Setiabudi beside his workplace where tante Sandra and I sat at Starbucks relaxing and killing the time a bit. Later on we went by GoCar (online taxi) to the Suriname Embassy in Jakarta where I went just to stop by for a visit, where I met Miss Nicole and Miss Pita for the first time in person.

Miss Pita and I have been in contact since August 2019 and finally after 4 years we met for the first time. She knows a lot about my life in Indonesia, because we have kept in touch since then. Miss Nicole is from Suriname and has been working at the Suriname Embassy for around seven months as she shared about her life in Indonesia and motivated me so much during our conversation.

Afterwards we walked to Lippo Mall and had our lunch and then to Cilandak Time Square (Mall) where I had an appointment with the former Indonesian Ambassador pak Supratikto Dominicus and his beautifully generous wife.

That was our day for this day and went back to Serpong where we stayed at in Jakarta around 6pm before our departure to Yogyakarta the next early morning.

To be continued.....
