If you ever visit or study at Andalas University in Padang, West Sumatra, you will notice that there are also international students studying at different faculties in different majors, like myself from Suriname. But the one who takes care of us is the International Office.
The International Office is firmed to be at the 2nd floor of the Rectorate’s building. The international office offers guidance to foreign students, foreign lecturers and guests, but also to the University’s students, administrative staff members, lecturers and to superiors (directors, deans, vice-deans, etc.) in overseas education and research.
When it comes to scholarships, they offer 3 types of scholarships for foreign students who are willing to continue their study at Andalas University which are:
1. Darmasiswa Ex Program Scholarship
2. Scholarship Program in Cooperation with the Indonesian Embassy
3. Scholarship on Own Application
