Ep. 1. Moments with Rain, Scholarships
With different topics, different music-styles, different guests (national and international), we welcome you to Moments with Rain, a show you can listen through SoundCloud for free while doing your activities. With your host Rain from Suriname, South America, who is currently studying at Andalas University in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia, as an international student; he’ll try his best to keep you entertained a bit with music, a new topic, and Indonesian or International guests. This show can take around 30 minutes or even one hour.
In this first episode we have come up with the topic ‘Scholarships’, where we have invited our first guest from Madagascar, Leonel, who is currently studying at Andalas University in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia, as an international student. Leonel shares about his experiences as a scholarship student and also how he copes with the current COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, different songs are also being played as we start with Waste it on me by BTS and Steve Oak, a song from Madagascar, Mimoza by D-Lain, and an Indonesian song Karna Su Sayang.
Moments with Rain is supported by the International Office of Andalas University and new episodes will be updated once a week. (Fridays)
